“The life that matters is the one in front of you, whoever that may be.”

Dr. D.J. Horton
Senior Pastor, Anderson Mill Baptist Church
Moore, S.C.

I don’t know anyone who is not concerned about the senseless killings around the world. The “Black Lives Matter” movement, followed by the “Blue Lives Matter” and other “Fill-in-the-blank Lives Matter” campaigns have, I am hopeful, made us more aware of the fact that ALL lives matter. Dr. Horton has written an excellent article on this topic in yesterday’s Spartanburg Herald-Journal. Christian or Muslim, Buddhist or Jew, agnostic or atheist, there is life affirming wisdom in his message: Whose life matters?
