Dyslexia…Attention Deficit Disorders…Asperger’s Syndrome….roadblocks on the road to success?  Not anymore.  Those with these so called disorders are increasing sought after by many companies.  One makes for a great software developer, another seems to be a prerequisite for running a company and another makes for a great entrepreneur.  This fascinating one page article in the Economist will fill in the details.

Crisis?  What Crisis? :    In a recent post I shared economist Brian Wesbury’s latest video The Plowhorse Economy” which he released before the latest disappointing employment numbers.  He called the U.S. Economy a “plowhorse” economy that he says will continue to plug along.  Vistage Staff Economist Alan Beaulieu of the Institute for Trend Research  comes to much the same conclusion as Wesbury but by a different route.   He looks at three fundamental economic questions:  “Escalating Crisis in Europe?”…  “Sudden US Economy Slowdown?” and “Paltry Job Growth in May?”

Supported by hard data and superb analysis he comes to very different conclusions to these questions than the mainstream media who are not hampered by the need to do homework and have learned that bad news always sells better.    Check out the ITR blog, “Setting the Economic Record Straight.”
